Remembering Dallas' Lost Heroes

Dallas Mourns Killings Of Five Police Officers

There are moments in our lives that we never forget. Those of us that lived in North Texas in July of 2016 will never forget the night that 5 of Dallas' heroes were taken from us. The days that followed we would learn that Lorne Ahrens, Michael Krol, Michael J. Smith, Brent Thompson and Patrick Zamarripa were fathers, sons, husbands, friends, and heroes. The City of Dallas has planned several events to remember and honor those fine heroes taken from us way too soon.

Friday:

Tribute 7/7 is tomorrow night at 6:30 at Dallas City Hall. You must register here to attend.

Saturday:

Participate in the Weekend Of Honor Unity Chain where Big D will attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the longest chain of people making a heart shape with their hands.

Run, motorcycle ride and remembrances at the Value Of Life Festival.

Sunday

Lifetime Achievement Reception at Fair Park to honor officers from across the country that were lost in the line of duty over the past year.

If you are unable to attend the events you can make a donation here.
