Can we stand to lose Princess Leia? Obviously, the “Star Wars” people didn’t have much of a choice when it came to writing her out of the series after “Episode 8,” thanks to Carrie Fisher’s death.
But it sounds like Leia survives, even if she’s not in Part 9 …if we can believe a new interview with the guy who plays Finn, John Boyega.
He told ABC News, “This movie, it sends her off in an amazing, amazing way. And she is still kept alive in this franchise. That’s the beauty of it: She lives forever in a sense.”
He also described what it was like to learn of Carrie’s death back in December, “It was a strange, strange feeling. I felt like everyone in the cast went silent for a bit after that.”
On a related note, Ron Howard revealed that his brother, Clint Howard, will appear in his Han Solo movie! He’s been in lots of Ron’s movies, like “Apollo 13” and “Parenthood.”
