What To Say To Your Child Who Thinks She is Fat

When you’re older, confidence comes a little easier (even though sometimes it doesn’t feel like it.) But when you think back to your childhood…especially if you felt different from everyone else, having natural confidence could be hard to come by, and insecurities set in.

So when one mom emailed Cassie about her 8-year-old, who thinks she’s fat (she’s not – she’s medically at the right weight for her height and age) and doesn’t want to go to school because she’s embarrassed and doesn’t want her friends to see her “fat.”
