The “Sharknado” Franchise Will End This Summer

The “Sharknado” Franchise Will End This Summer – The Bert Show

All good things must come to an end.  As must the not-so-good.  And thus, the sixth “Sharknado” will be the last.  It’ll air this summer on Syfy.

Yes, this will supposedly be the last one.  Anything is possible, of course.  But despite all the media hype and attention these movies get, they’ve overstayed their welcome.

“Sharknado 2” was the highest-rated of the bunch, with 3.9 million viewers…but Part 5 only attracted 1.89 million.

If you’ve been keeping up with the series, then you know that it ended with Fin…played by Ian Ziering…embarking on a time-travel adventure with his son, who’s actually older than him and played by Dolph Lundgen.

And that’s where Part 6 will pick up.  There’s no word on plot details, except that the movie will include Nazis, dinosaurs, knights, and Noah’s Ark.

Not to mention Tara Reid.  Yeah, she’s coming back, even though she died in Part 5.  You know…time travel and all that.
