Chrissy Teigen Says Ice Cream Between Two Cookies Doesn’t Count as an Ice Cream Sandwich.
Chrissy Teigen and comedian Kumail Nanjiani got into a heated Twitter debate yesterday…and Chrissy’s husband John Legend took Kumail’s side! The subject of this debate? Ice cream sandwiches.
It started when Kumail Tweeted, “An ice cream sandwich, freshly made, so the structural integrity of the cookie isn’t compromised, is pretty doable.”
But Chrissy wasn’t having it. She called cookie ice cream sandwiches garbage, adding, “The only ice cream sandwich should be the rectangular blocks with chocolate cakey bread with holes. This is not an opinion, it is a fact.”
Kumail didn’t back down. And when John Legend piped in, he went against his wife. And he gave a shout-out to Coolhaus cookie ice cream sandwiches…which he called, “perfection.”
Chrissy still had some fight in her, though. She said, “When you bite the cookie, it smashes the ice cream and causes deliberate chaos.”
After a little more back-and-forth, Chrissy posted a video of herself eating her version of an ice cream sandwich. And Kumail tapped out, saying, “You win again.” (People)
