Pauly D Shares Update On Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino's Stint In Prison

After all these years, no one can deny that the cast of Jersey Shore is a family, especially after DJ Pauly D's recent interview on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen to promote the upcoming season of the MTV reality show. During his appearance, he also shed some insight on how Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino is doing behind bars.

On Thursday night (July 12), the 39-year-old DJ took to the evening show alongside Luann de Lesseps and spoke with Cohen about Sorrentino. "He's doing really well,” Pauly revealed. I went there to visit him and I thought they were going basically strip search me, and that wasn’t the case it was very laid back. He’s happy, positive. He’s just so happy to get it over with and he just wants to get out. He sees Lauren like every week. He's almost done." As you probably remember, Sorrentino began an eight-month sentence for tax evasion in January.

During his visit, the reality star said that he also saw Billy McFarland, the famed Fyre Festival founder, who is serving a six-year sentence for his involvement in the poorly planned music affair. "I did. It was cool. He was with his family visiting," he admitted. "We were visiting Mike, his family was visiting him. I was like, 'This is so weird.' We were at picnic tables outside. There were no bars! You picture jail bars and cells and guys with guns — they could have taken my phone, but I had my phone on me and everything."
