The Weeknd, Roddy Ricch Lead 2020 AMAs Nominations


The Weeknd and Roddy Ricch top the 2020 American Music Awards nominations.

Dua Lipa did the honors of announcing the nominations for this year’s awards show, airing live on November 22 from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, on Good Morning America on Monday (October 26).

The Canadian singer and Compton-born rapper are leading this year’s AMAs with eight nominations respectively, including Artist of the Year and Favorite Song — Pop/Rock. Megan Thee Stallion trails with five nominations, with Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Doja Cat, DaBaby and Bad Bunny garnering four nods apiece.

The 2020 AMAs broadcast live on Sunday, November 22, on ABC at 8 p.m. EST.
