At least 22 people were killed and close to 60 were injured after an explosion last night at the Manchester Arena in England, right after an Ariana Grande show.
It happened OUTSIDE the arena at around 10:30 P.M. local time, as people were filing out of the building. Police are investigating it as an act of terrorism, and it appears to have been the work of a suicide bomber. No one has claimed responsibility yet.
British Prime Minister Theresa May called it “an appalling terrorist attack.” As of last night, there was no word from President Trump, but the Department of Homeland Security is closely monitoring the situation, and they say they have no information about a similar threat to a music venue in the U.S.
There’s an eerie dashcam video shot from the other side of the arena, where you can hear the explosion, and see the light from the blast. You hear the guy who’s in the car say “No!”, because he was waiting for his GIRLFRIEND to get out of the concert.
