#ReadThisFIRST: Here's what you need to know today!

Good morning, amigos! Welcome to Friday... and thank you for choosing to read this first!

Got up early today. Not sure why, but for some reason I just wasn't having sleep past a certain point today... and I discovered something...

... some stuff that we count on for the broadcast... isn't available before a certain time early in the morning!

Now, you'd think I'd just go back to bed, but nope. I'll stay up and find something to put here, even if it is me writing and rambling like I am right now.

Rambling. Because the coffee hasn't kicked in.

As always, thank you for choosing to #ReadThisFirst...

Let's start with the BEZOS-BONANZA...

When a BILLIONAIRE gets divorced, it's a thing. Jeff Bezos, founder of AMAZON was all over the news yesterday and now we have more details because... we just can't get enough of the drama can we?

Jeff Bezos is the richest man on the planet, but he did not have enough money to purchase the cover story from the National Enquirer.

Bezos learned the tabloid was about to publish incriminating sexts to his mistress, former TV news anchor Lauren Sanchez. They also have naked selfies taken by Bezos and he sent to Sanchez a D-pic, allegedly.

The National Enquirer rejected an extremely generous offer from Bezos to kill the story.

The billionaire’s high-priced lawyers sent a letter to the tabloid threatening a lawsuit if they continued to report he cheated on MacKenzie Bezos. He claims they separated long before he stole Lauren Sanchez from her Hollywood movie mogul husband. (The Blast)

The National Enquirer forced Amazon founder Jeff Bezos to declare he would divorce his wife because he cheated with former TV news anchor Lauren Sanchez.

The tabloid published the “series of sleazy photos, X-rated selfies and explicit texts” Bezos sent her. He texted in May, (quote) “I want to smell you, I want to breathe you in. I want to kiss your lips.”

Another time, he told Lauren Sanchez, (quote) “I love you. I will show you with my body, and my lips and my eyes, very soon.”

In June he texted, (quote) “I want to get a little drunk with you tonight. Listen and laugh … Then I want to fall asleep with you and wake up tomorrow and read the paper with you and have coffee with you.”

Jeff Bezos contradicted the National Enquirer, which said he celebrated his 25th wedding anniversary with MacKenzie Bezos in September, several months after sending those texts. The billionaire claimed they separated before he hooked up with Lauren Sanchez.

Lauren Sanchez, the former TV news anchor who wrecked the 25-year marriage of Jeff Bezos, was betrayed by one of her loose-lipped girlfriends.

The National Enquirer got a hold of a “series of sleazy photos, X-rated selfies and explicit texts” from Bezos with the sneaky help from Sanchez’s girlfriend.

Sanchez was so giddy about dating Bezos that she felt compelled to share the receipts. That friend saw the scandalous value in them and reached out to the National Enquirer. The tabloid published several of the sexts and sleazy photos. A person who’s seen the unpublished D-pic said, (quote) “Bezos has more to boast about than his bank account. He’s big.”

Evidence straight from the mistress that the world’s wealthiest person cheated on his wife launched a four-month investigation. The National Enquirer dubbed it “Project Alexa” after Amazon’s gadget. (New York Post)

Bezos is worth approximately $140 billion. Even if half goes to his wife in the divorce, Bezos will still have $70 billion and drop all the way down to the fourth wealthiest person on the planet. Then, he'll be tied with his ex-wife, who will have the other half of his fortune.

#TobysTake: Those were some expensive texts to send, right? WOW!

(which I've learned doesn't all get posted 'til 0300 hours!)

Want to be a billionaire? Start with a sales job. For his recent book, The Wealth Elite, sociologist and historian Rainer Zitelmann interviewed a number of self-made billionaires and multimillionaires and found that they all had a sales job, or jobs, when they were younger. And the experience they got in that job is something they cited as a huge factor in their success. (Market Watch

The truth will set you free … According to a new study, telling lies makes you unhappy. Researchers found that most people tell a bunch of lies every day. And, they often tell these lies to keep their interactions with others rolling along smoothly. But, these lies are not harmless. Instead, they hurt our chances of creating authentic connections with people, which makes us less happy than those who are brutally honest. (Inc.

A text exchange between a man and a woman on a first date has gone viral because the woman ordered lobster and expensive wine -- and the guy refused to pay for it.

The guy, who happens to be a college student, just ordered a $20 meal of pasta, while his date ordered lobster and a $90 bottle of wine -- totaling $126.

Not surprisingly, she ended up calling him rude and explaining that “gentlemen ALWAYS pay for girl’s food.” (Insider)
