If you love Amazon for their two-day shipping and good deals? Soon you’ll be able to use Amazon to get that post-pandemic chop you’ve been considering.
That's right, the online retail giant is getting into the hair salon biz and has confirmed Amazon Salon is a go.

Think about that for a minute. WOW. AMIRITE?
The two-story, 15-hundred-square foot salon is opening in London and will offer customers hair care services with new styling technology, products and services. Clients will be able to try out virtual hair colors through augmented reality technology and use point-and-learn displays to learn about a product on the shelf just by pointing at it. And while getting their hair did, people can entertain themselves with the salon’s Fire tablets.
Elena Lavagni, owner of Neville Hair & Beauty salon in London, is providing the hair care services with her team of stylists. And just like any other salon, safety comes first and Amazon Salon will be providing free face masks and hand sanitizer for guests, as well as doing temperature checks and limiting capacity inside. It’ll only be available to Amazon employees when it first opens, but in the coming weeks the general public will be allowed. But before you get excited about booking an appointment, there are no current plans to open any other locations, so you’ll have to head to London to try it out.
"Next time I'm in London, I'm going for a proper head shave at the AMAZON SALON," said American Radio Presenter Toby Knapp, who can't go to London just yet due to COVID travel restrictions. "I'm hopeful the experience will be enriching, much like JEFF BEZOS is rich, only, without the money."
