Starbucks Commits to Paying Employees for 30 Days Even if They Don't Work

Starbucks Reports Quarterly Earnings

There have definitely been a lot of eyes on businesses during the COVID19 pandemic. Will they close to protect their employees? If their employees aren't able to work, will they still pay them?

Recently, Starbucks has been in the eye of the public due to still remaining open, despite people saying Starbucks isn't an essential business. While people urged Starbucks to close, the company began to close their lobbies and only make coffee orders available for pickup through the drive thru.

Starbucks has announced however that given the current health climate, they are giving the option to all employees to either work or not work. Whatever they choose, they will be compensated for 30 days. You can read more about it HERE!
